Weather has hampered progress for a few days. The contract between SEMSWA and the contractors includes a substantial penalty, per day, for not finishing on time.

 

Since construction began, an orange fabric fence has surrounded the construction area but has not been successful. People would knock it down, as we thought might happen.  The contractors have requested that SEMSWA now install a temporary chain link fence to cordon off the construction area.  This is good news, as it should curb traffic between any of the residential areas as well as away from the construction.
