Return to List SB100 Policies
Posted on Feb 17, 2010
The execution of the documents was October 23, 2007. As per the advice of counsel, these documents were re-affirmed per a vote and signature of the 2009-2010 Board of Directors, as it was unclear that the SB100 documents were handled in a fashion consistent with the “Procedures for Adoption and Amendment of Policies, Procedures and Rules.”
The purpose of the SB100 documents is as follows:
The Senate Bill 100 process mandates that homeowners association develop "directions" or "guidelines" as to how homeowners associations will handle specific situations in a uniform manner.
Sec 38-33.3-101 Item 1a …
The general assembly hereby finds… “That it is in the best interest of the state and it’s citizens to establish a clear comprehensive and uniform framework for the creation and operation of common interest communities…”
In accordance with the procedure for adoption of these policies, we will be mailing these documents to all homeowners. They can also be viewed electronically under “Documents.”
